Kenprinter & Kenprint Processor

ILFORD LTD PHOTOFINISHING EQUIPMENT

This picture is the same as the BJA advert from the previous page. The printer is fitted with an elaborate table with cupboard that is not typical of the Kenprinters that I have seen that usually had removable legs and a box fitted to the right hand side that contained the negative carriers and lenses.

The Kennington Paper Processor. These were threaded using a polythene leader. All the roller rods were lifted and  then lowered as the machine threaded. The two rods near the paper roll were in the developer and could be adjusted to alter the development time. The last tank was a wash and paper could accumulate in here before passing to the glazer. The glazer would normally be in daylight with the prints passing through a slit in an orange perspex window.
